What if you were given a 'Get out of Jail FREE' card'? 

What would you do with your new found freedom? Wouldn't you love to go on that carribbean cruise you were always dreaming about, or visit relatives in far off places, or maybe get a new family car, or a sporty little number just for you?   There are so many things we would do if we had FREEDOM.  Money FREEDOM and TIME freedom.

To many of us are trapped by debt. Credit cards, mortgages, student loans, car loans, you name it, we are just owing money left right and centre. Loans are at their highest rate at the moment, and again only if you are applicable to get a loan.

So if you could be shown a way to help you pay off your debts, would you be interested in hearing more? Or would you just tear up that 'Get out of Jail FREE card'.

And for those of you that are trapped by employers, and working for others, what would TIME freedom do for you?  Imagine YOU being your own boss, working the hours YOU want to work, choosing the people YOU want to do business with!

So what is this magic pill that can help you to 'get out of debt?'

Sorry to dissapoint but there is No magic pill, but you must have heard of Direct Selling, or Network Marketing right?  No? 

Well Network Marketing in its simplest form is where you use leverage in order to distribute products and services through many independent distributors. 

Now let's look at it another way.  How many hours do we have in any one given day? Yes, that's right 24 hours.  But, by utilising other peoples time and effort and putting that with yours you can have many more than the simple 24 hours there is in a day.  Now bearing this in mind, how much income do you think could be generated?

When I first got involved with Network Marketing, it was a totally alien concept to me, but having leverage to generate extra income was something I caught onto pretty quickly.  Now, when I came into Network Marketing, I was not a 'marketer'.  I could not see myself 'selling' stuff, or talking to strangers, nooooo, this wasn't me.  In the beginning I had to talk to friends and family.  I struggled, badly.  I had to get over this fear of talking to people, and my mentor then, told me I needed to talk to lots and lots of people.  It was pretty scary back then, and if this is your first time in Network Marketing, then times have changed dramatically with the introduction of the internet and social media marketing.

Now there are some Direct marketing systems out there that cost an arm and a leg to join, then you may have to put up with a garage full of products on hand to retail out to your customers.  You may have a 30 day money back guarantee, but what if you are stuck with the products for more than 30 days, do you think that you would be able to send the products back?  Probably not, as they are consumables and have a 'use by date'. 

Now, what if you were exposed to a system where working together in a team that will support and guide and help you start and set up a home business from scratch would you be interested? 

Would you want to take a serious look?

I would hope so, because what would it cost?  Nothing only some of your time.

Having reviewed a number of home business start ups,  most can average between £900 and £1500, in some extreme cases more than £2000.  That is the average cost if you are looking at a generating a monthly income anywhere from £500 to £1000.  The amount of time it takes to generate this monthly income is totally down to you and you alone.

There are mulitple disclaimers about how much you can make from your home business, and there are a number of factors to consider also, such as the amount of free time you are able to spend on starting up your home business, and also the additional expenditure for advertising and getting it up and running quickly.

The additional fees of websites, hosting and autoresponders also come into play, let along having a system to help you generate leads into your marketing funnel.

Now of course starting up a network marketing business uses a lot less capital than a franchise, or setting up a shop front.  These can take from £20k to over £100k.  For instance, if you were to start up a McDonalds franchise you are looking at £250k on average.

With the cost of a franchise, you will also have the rent to pay, the building upkeep, employees wages to pay, materials to buy and advertising costs.  This can cost you thousands more than the original outlay you had put in.

I had an interesting discussion with my partner yesterday. We were talking about salaries, particularly surrounding the current banking crises and the level of pay that the executives receive.  We were talking about the Fred Goodwin case which is quite topical news in the UK.

Those of you who do you know Fred Goodwin was the chief executive of the Royal Bank of Scotland he was in charge of it back in 2008 I believe just before the crash. Now he was given a Knighthood  for his services to the banking industry.  However, recently in the news aimed at the Royal Bank of Scotland executive who was given a £960,000 plus bonus, which caused outcry in the UK. Particularly because the Royal Bank Of Scotland is owned by the UK public as it was bailed out in the banking crisis in 2009/ 2011.

After much debating in parliament and on the news the executive was forced to give up his large bonus. This then raise the question about bonuses in general. If a bonus is included in your contract it is almost always stipulated that you have to achieve certain goals certain objectives. However, the culture of the last few years in the banking industry has been that executives still expect to get a bonus even if they haven't delivered fully on the goals or targets they were set by stakeholders.

This is what has caused the outcry in the UK. As a consequence Fred Goodwin was stripped of his knighthood. Something that has only been done once before in the UK. Other things that were brought to light included the £450,000 a year pension that Fred Goodwin has. Nice pension pot!

Now this raised a debate between my partner and myself, the fact that there is only so much most of us can go in our jobs before we hit a salary ceiling.

We discussed the huge gaps and disparity in wages set between company executives such as Fred Goodwin and the workers and managers  below them.

 How many of us have an opportunity to go beyond the glass ceiling? The answer is virtually no one.

This then made me debate the fact that most people would love to go beyond the glass ceiling in their current jobs. However, with the current economic state and the way that companies are strategically set up this is not ever going to be an option.

There are a few people who are looking for another way to earn an additional income without their being this glass ceiling or cap in how much can be earned.

You may work your guts out for your current employer, but do you get rewarded ?

Do you get a bonus in your next month's pay salary?

You may get recognised once in awhile through a company award scheme for employees. But how beneficial is this to you and your family and in helping your income to grow?

There could be other colleagues beside you who put in only half as much effort as you do and they're still receiving the same salary as you are is this fair?

Each year your salary maybe capped to a certain percentage in pay rise either by the company or by the government. Is this fair?

The cost of living is increasing for all of us. The cost of petrol is rising steadily, the cost of purchasing food is rising due to the high cost of petrol in transporting the food.

Education; the government have just announced a maximum tuition fee of £9000 increased from £3000 on college education. So even getting a good education is now going to be difficult for a lot of young people. What will their job prospects be later on in life?  

Currently, there are over 1million young people and graduates who are unemployed, what is their future going to be like.  Many may well be living on welfare, but how long can this be sustainable, and what satisfaction is this bringing to these young people who want to go out there and work.

At this point this is where multilevel marketing and network marketing came into the conversation. Now, as a network marketer myself I raised the fact that you can earn as little or as much as you want to.

There is no structure in place to stop you from going above a certain limit of earnings. It's all down to you. It's all down to what you want to achieve. What your goals financially are.

Network marketing or MLM is the only industry that I know where there are no glass ceilings in place.

No one individual getting more than others in the company, because others in the company have the same opportunity to earn as much as if not more than the top income owner.

It is the only industry where your efforts are rewarded and your income grows without a limit. It is the only industry where if you put in the effort and work hard you will be rewarded and you will see those rewards.

You don’t have to be nearing retirement to be worrying about whether you will get a pension or not.  These days if your one of the baby boomers, you may find your pension has dropped considerably over the last 5 years or so, especially during the global downturn. 

Most pensions are affected by the global markets, as pension fund managers put the income into stock, bonds and shares.  All which have suffered a heavy blow.

Others may have been wiser and invested in property, however, property has also taken a heavy fall over the last four years, particularly with the sub prime issues.

Recent outcries in European countries have arisen because governments have decided to raise the pensionable ages of when you are supposed to work until.  In France there were riots when the government announced  that the age of pensions will be rising to 62 as part of their pension reforms.

In the UK, the government recently announced on the 29^th of November 2011 that it proposed to bring forward the rise of State Pension age to 67 for both men and women depending on when you were born.

Imagine having to rely on the fact that

a) you can contribute into a private or public fund if you want to

b) the amount you get, is determined by how it has been invested over the time

c) you can’t get to it until you are at retirement age

That sucks don’t you think?

I don’t know about you, but I want to retire on my own terms and at an age that I deem to be retire able.  I don’t want to be dictated to by the state or the government.

I am here to enlighten you. There are ways you can build your own assets and ‘pension’ in a market that is on the increase.  Not many are aware of these assets, but more and more are now wising up to the fact that GOLD and SILVER is possibly the way to go right now at this economic clime.

That is where the primary company I am in has a niche that is unique and are profiting right now.  You don’t have to be a marketer to invest, you can be the standard  Joanne Blogs (do you like that! or to my American friends Jane Doe), off the street, just wanting to improve your investments in order that you can have a great retirement lifestyle.

Why do we wait until the end of the year to reflect?  Reflection should be something you do on a regular basis.  Checking if you are where you thought you would be at that point in time, or being who you said you wanted to be. 

Having Resolutions is not the cure.  How many of us have made that mistake of making a resolution and not being able to carry it through beyond the first week or two of proposing it.  Why set yourself up to fail in this way.

As we move into the New Year 2012, take time out to look back on your achievements, your failures and your non achievements.  You can get what you ask for, but you need to know these three important things first.  The law of attraction works, but only if you believe and know what to ask for.

 

1. What have you got to be grateful for? Being grateful is something that the law of attraction recognises, to not take things for granted.  We should all take time out to look at things to be grateful for.

Me, I'm grateful I have such a great family.  You see, this year has been a tough one on the family front.  My mother was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.  I had noticed her forgetting little things, things she had placed and couldn't remember where she had placed them, this I put down to 'old age' after all she is 84 years old.  Then other little things came up, like the repitition of a sentence in short periods of time, the attention wandering, the tears of frustration and anger, something which was totally alien for my mother.  I have always known her as a strong woman, a strong believer in God and the church, patient, loving and ever so thoughtful as only mums can be I guess.  So it was hard to see her change in these ways.  But, when the rest of my family, aunts, cousins, siblings began to 'step forward' and offer to help with looking after her, this made me feel humbled and overjoyed at the fact that I have such a wonderful caring family around me, willing to help and support out of love.  Friends also have been wonderful and supportive.

So for me, being grateful for being born into such a wonderful family, who are all caring and loving is what 2011 bought out for me amongst other things. 

It isn't until tragedy strikes that you know just how many people around you are there for you.  I found this out in 2011.

I lost a couple of great friends in 2011, and this brought out the frailty we all have and take for granted.  Life is precious and we should live this day by day and enjoy what you do, day by day.  We are after all here on borrowed time, how much time we don't know but the creator up there does…

2. What Do You Want?  Knowing what it is you want will help you to focus on how to get it.  Many though are not clear on what it is they want.  They are not clear because they are too general in asking for what they want.  Be specific, go down to 'detail'.  As the Great philosopher JIM Rohn said. 'It's all in the detail'…. Remember you get what you ask for, so be careful and be specific to what you ask for. 

3. Are you able to let yourself Go? An important part of being able to move forward, to achieve more than you think you can, is the ability to be able to 'let yourself go'.  Let yourself go from what was inhibiting you, it could be a mind thing, or a physical thing, but you have to learn to 'let it go'.

Trust your instincts, don't be afraid to take the step that will set you free.  It's is not until you are able to 'let yourself go' that things begin to happen.

In the beginning of 2011, I let go of what was holding me back with regards to having a great relationship.  As soon as I made this promise to myself in January of 2011, I met a fantastic man in March of that same year.  I believe meeting him was not fate, it was what I had asked the universe for and it was brought to me. 

The universe can act for you or against you, depending on what you think, how you feel, and your ability to 'let it go' and trust your instincts.

Now you have these powerful tips on getting whatyou want, I would advise that you also take on board personal development, as this has also played a big part in my life, and in most high flying entrepreneurs of today, they all swear by personal development, learning from others before them who have gone through the same path and acheived what it is they wish to achieve and more.  If you don't grow, how do you expect your business or your expectations to grow?

What inspires you? What moves you to take action, to focus your energy towards a specific goal? What are you so passionate about that you forget your doubts and fears and move forward with clarity of thought and purpose? Do you act only when you feel you must or are forced to and therefore react to situations? Or do you take action in order to avoid potentially difficult situations? Learning to take inspired action and to use your own intuitive knowing will help you step into the flow and draw you closer to your desired outcome with effortless grace and ease, into a reality unfolding with peace, joy and abundance.

 

Inspired action is action that is taken with confidence and knowing that a particular step is the right one to take. Learning to use your guidance and intuition to decide when to take the next step and in which direction to go creates a balance between mind and spirit that utilizes the best of your learning and experience to create the possibility of a new reality. How do you know when action is inspired? When you feel calm, at peace and are not afraid. This is when the results flow and you only have to think about what you want and the opportunities present themselves effortlessly.

 

Moving from the mind limits action to re-action because the mind responds from its past knowing and learning, so all it can create is a replay of past experiences. Learning to recognize inspiration, where you act from the new information and knowing provided by the world around you, requires that you trust in your own personal competence and are willing to try what is new and different, even if it is something that you have never done before. Have you asked for guidance and the answer is a step into the unknown? Trust that your guidance will always lead you to the path of highest and greatest fulfilment, and into effortless creation.

 

Effortlessness will be the new energy of life when you learn to take inspired action, because you act in partnership with those around you, in the direction and on the path that are perfect for you. This is life lived with divine influence, that you trust in the Universe to fulfil every need within each moment. You move from destiny to creation and act from the heart's desire for your highest good. Now is the time to take inspired action in your life, to do what your heart tells you is right for you and to learn to accept that effortlessness is the way of the Universe. Choose an area of your life you want to change, ask for guidance and commit to accepting the challenge to trust and act from the point of this inspired guidance. Be still and know that you are loved and supported, be open to receiving the blessings of joy, peace and abundance and commit yourself to your underlying desire for wholeness and to know your true self.

Then be at peace, and be inspired.

Christmas is upon us once again.  The season of good cheer, good will and thankfulness.

Christmas is so commercialised now, the meaning of why we celebrate it is often pushed in the background.   However, for me, Christmas is a time to remember the loved ones that are no longer with us.  To look at the legacy that they have left, the lessons of wisdom they passed along, and the love they had and will always have.  It is also a time to be thankful for the opportunities given to us, some we may not even yet be aware of, but be open at all times otherwise the opportunities may be missed.  Be thankful for life, if you are healthy and well, be thankful  for that, because there are others out there not as healthy or as well as you.

As a mother, I think of the children in the world not so fortunate to have theirs.  As such, I have sponsored a child in the carribbean island of Jamaica, the land where my parents are from.  It is a great feeling of helping and giving back to society in little ways, and this is just one of which I have done throughout the years.

Each year I have great pleasure in choosing a worthwile cause to donate to.  So far this year I have completed a 13 mile walk for the Cancer Reseach Charity and raised over £1,000, I have also donated to the NSPCC, National Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Children as well as to the ACLT, African Carribbean Leukaemia Trust.  The last charity is dear to me as my father had leukaemia, he sadly passed away 9 years ago.

Christmas is also a time to look back on the year and to see what has been achieved, what could have been done differently, and to learn from this to go forward into the following year.

Now,  we have just finished putting our tree up and decorated it with baubles and tinsel.  The Christmas Food shopping has been completed and now its time to chill out and relax until the 25th of December.

I want to wish all my readers a lovely Christmas and hope it is a happy time that you spend with your family and friends.
